The staff were friendly and helpful even when

they were busy. The room was comfortable, but there was some noise from the outside. It was nice that they checked in with us occasionally to ensure we had everything we needed.

Spent two nights in a twin room and loved the chalet-style setup! Super comfy beds and everything was clean. Had a nice meal in the bar area—Jackie and Summer were great! Will def come back!

Family with children’s perfect stay

So we spent a couple of nights there—right next to Bardon Parc Chapel, perfect for family gatherings. The staff, I tell you, they were cheerful and went outta their way to help us. I mean, being able to park right outside the chalet was essential for my mobility issues.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it’s still acceptable.

Charnwood Arms is beautifully decorated and easily accessible for seniors. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helping me with my luggage, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Parking conditions could use significant improvement.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay with the kids, and the pool was a fantastic way for them to unwind after a day of exploring. We especially loved chilling in the garden area and listening to the live music at night. The only downside was that the rooms felt a bit dated, but it didn’t take away from our fun! 😊

Big shout out for the friendly staff, they really made me feel right at home! Plus, the clean and spacious room was a nice touch after a long day of wandering. Oh, and the food was bang on point, served up quick and easy-like.

Had an awesome stay with my mates! We hit up a couple of great pubs nearby, both with enclosed beer gardens perfect for relaxing after a long day. The meals at the pub attached were fantastic too, with loads of choices. Just a heads up, breakfast service can be a bit slow at times.

Exceptional service, unique accommodation setup!

During my stay at Charnwood Arms, I appreciated the clean, spacious room and the helpful staff. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. the parking conditions left much to be desired.

The room had some decent space to stretch out, and the overall décor felt relatively warm and inviting. A notable aspect was the Big Plate Breakfast. it definitely packed a punch with generous portions that made it a worthy morning treat.

Unfortunately, the entrance could use some work as it’s quite congested with the reception being part of the busy restaurant. The bathroom felt neglected, with a door that barely locked and gaps large enough for a small dog to slip through. The overall state of the room left much to be desired, stained walls, an unkempt carpet, and leftover hair in the bath didn’t sit well with the standards you'd hope for.

Exceptional Family Stay with Delicious Breakfast

We had a fantastic time celebrating my son's birthday. The Big Plate Breakfast was a highlight for us—huge portions and superb quality! The staff was friendly, but try to visit during less busy times for more attentive service. Definitely a place we'll return to!
